What if Message Guardian flags a safe image?

Message Guardian checks images against known scam samples and watches for repeated images across channels in a short time. False positives on normal images are rare, but no matching system can eliminate them entirely.

When nekoHaru hides a message or applies a timeout, it sends a card to the configured admin channel. If the image is safe:

• Click“❌ Not a scam”on the card to send us a report.
• If a member was timed out, click“🔓 Remove timeout” to restore access immediately, without waiting.

Reports are recorded to improve detection. Repeated cases across servers get priority. Your feedback helps every server using nekoHaru.

Want to avoid false positives?When discussing scam examples, mark images as spoilers to exclude them from scam-image matching. Repeating an image across channels in a short time may still trigger spam detection.

Channel unavailable when configuring a channel

The selected channel cannot currently be used. Common reasons:

• The channel was deleted or its type is unsupported, such as selecting a voice channel.
• The bot lacks View Channel permission.
• The channel was just created or changed, but the list is out of date.

Try these steps in order:

1. Grant the bot View Channel and Send Messages permissions.
2. Reload the page and click Refresh next to the channel list.
3. Reselect all channel fields for this feature and save,even if the same channel is already shown。

If the error persists, contact the developer.

YouTube custom-template notifications are not sentFixed

Previously, if a custom template contained@everyone or@hereand the bot lacked permission to mention @everyone, @here, and all roles, Discord rejected the entire notification.

Since September 6, 2026, nekoHaru instead retrieswithout mentions. The notification is delivered without pinging members. Grant the permissions above to enable mentions.
